The recent trend of using music, art or text as NFTs (non-fungible tokens) has extended to the world of domains. Domains are probably the most natural fit for NFTs due to their unique requirements and pre-existing infrastructure for management and exchange. Mac Observer is reporting that Unstoppable Domains have acquired 1 million domain names and minted them as NFTs with Etherium. The company also added eight more domain name extensions, including .nft, .wallet, .dao, .bitcoin, and .blockchain.
