The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has announced that it is providing an additional $1.25 million for Canadian non-profits, charities and academic institutions. The Community Investment Program has has provided $6.7 million to grants for 151 projects, and on May 30th, 2019, it announced funding for an additional 21 projects.
Grant recipients were found across the country, focusing on broader online access to remote and underserved communities.
