Vancouver to handle disputes over domains

The British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BCICAC) has been chosen to be part of a select group of organizations authorized to handle domain name disputes. A division of the BCICAC known as the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre (CIIDRC) was selected by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to resolve disputes for the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

The BCICAC had been handling disputes involving .ca domains for several years, but the CIIDRC has been authorized to handle cases involving non-.ca domains, including .com, .org and .net domains.
