The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), has just released the results of their survey analyzing the online security experiences of IT personnel at both private and public sector organizations across Canada. The full report is available on CIRA’s website.
Some of the key takeaways were:
- 71% of organizations reported experiencing at least one cyber-attack that impacted operations in some way
- Only 22% of those surveyed engaged in cybersecurity awareness training on a monthly basis
- Of businesses reporting they were attacked, 13% indicated the attack impacted their reputation
